About our Ecommerce Management Team
We help our clients expand their business and geographic scope with guidance and implementation across digital advertising and retail, optimizing conversion on all major platforms.
We are seeking an experienced Account Director (f/m/d) with a strong focus on Amazon Advertising and Retail Media platforms. You are a strategic thinker who understands the mechanics of Ecommerce and performance marketing, and you know how to drive brand growth through paid media – especially in the Amazon ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will be both a strategic leader and operational driver, thriving in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment. This role is client-facing, impact-driven, and highly collaborative with our media, analytics, content, and marketplace operations teams.
How would you spend your time if you join us?
You will own the client relationship with international enterprise brands, acting as strategic sparring partner and growth driver
You will develop and lead media & ecommerce strategies, with a focus on Amazon Advertising and retail media platforms (e.g. Walmart, OTTO, eBay, etc.) ensuring that media and retail strategies are closely aligned
You will translate client goals into actionable plans, aligning our media, analytics and operations teams around shared objectives
You will lead business reviews, present results, and communicate strategic recommendations to senior client stakeholders
You will oversee campaign management across a variety of retail media platforms and tools (e.g. Criteo, Mabaya, CitrusAd, Microsoft Retail Media, Skai) to optimize traffic, sales and ROI
You will build strong relationships with retail media partners and platforms, keeping us ahead of trends and capabilities
You will contribute to thought leadership, challenge conventional thinking, and bring in fresh ideas that elevate our approach
Requirements
Who Are You?
You have 8+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or retail media, including significant experience managing client strategy at an agency, platform, or brand.
You have worked with multi-national brands and know how to lead and grow complex client relationships
You have hands-on understanding of Amazon Advertising, retail media logic, and AMC (Amazon Marketing Cloud), even if you’re not in the weeds of every campaign
You have either worked in an agency leadership role or led central functions on the brand side in close collaboration with external partners
You are a strong communicator, confident presenter, and trusted advisor to clients and internal teams alike
You bring a strategic mindset, commercial awareness, and the drive to make an impact
You love collaborating across teams and regions, adapting quickly, and building strong human connections
You’re fluent in English – German is a strong plus
