About our Digital Marketing - B2B Team

We're the team that used to be BizMut, now merged under Front Row.

We’re numbers-driven performance marketers who focus on our B2B clients’ pipeline revenue and bottom-line value. We specialize in building and executing performance marketing strategies for B2B clients with long sales cycles and complex customer journeys.

    More about the role

Are you a seasoned operations leader who knows how to build the infrastructure that lets a high-performing team actually perform? Are P&L ownership, process design, business controlling, and strategic planning the languages you speak fluently — all the way up to CEO and global leadership level? Are you energised by the idea of owning the operational backbone of a business, making the numbers tell a clear story, and quietly ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks across a fast-moving, multi-functional team?

If these are the challenges you want to be tackling, we are sure the position of (Senior) Director of Operations will be a good fit for you!

Your MISSION in this role will be to own the operational engine of our Bratislava business — the processes, tools, financial controls, and strategic planning rhythms that keep everything running smoothly and scalably. You will be the person who makes sure the business is not just functioning, but performing: clear on where it stands, sharp on where it is going, and well-equipped to get there.

How would you spend your time if you join us?

ABOUT 40% @ OPERATIONAL BACKBONE — PROCESSES, TOOLS & PARTNERS:

    • Own the processes that wrap around our client work (without running client projects yourself): manage the deal and contract process end-to-end in HubSpot and PandaDoc, support project pricing and profitability management, and help the client-facing teams structure new projects cleanly in Harvest, SharePoint, Asana, and the rest of our toolstack

    • Own the bi-annual Client Satisfaction Survey end-to-end: rollout, analysis, and presenting the learnings back to the team

    • Be the process owner (not the technical owner) for our core tools — Harvest, Asana, HubSpot, PandaDoc, Miro, the Microsoft stack, and our AI tools (Langdock, Claude, Cowork) — defining how we use them, who has access to what, and how we keep things consistent as the team grows

    • Manage the relationships with our local external partners — tax consultants, legal counsel, building management and landlords, and other service providers — and make sure the business and its infrastructure in Bratislava run smoothly, quietly, and without surprises

    ABOUT 35% @ BUSINESS CONTROLLING & STEERING:

    • Own the local Bratislava P&L — produce regular, clear reporting on business health and performance, and make sure the numbers tell a story the team and leadership can act on

    • Work hand-in-hand with the Managing Director Slovakia, and directly with EU and Global CEOs, on how the local business is developing

    • Track and align on client pipeline, team capacities, capacity gaps, and profitability across the three client-facing teams

    • Lead the annual and quarterly budgeting process for the Bratislava business — from setting the numbers to monitoring utilisation throughout the year

    • Bring a sharp commercial lens to everything: spot the trends, flag the risks early, and translate financials into concrete decisions

ABOUT 25% @ INTERNAL COMMUNICATION, OKRs & STRATEGIC PLANNING:

    • Report on business health and key news to the local team — through monthly team meetings, the Quarterly Business Review, and other internal touchpoints

    • Prepare presentations (and sometimes present yourself) to global management on what's happening in Bratislava, including All-Hands and other cross-office moments

    • Own the local group OKR process and strategic planning cycle — how we set what we want to achieve, how we track progress, and how we course-correct

    • Help develop strategies that work across our multi-functional teams, not just within them

LOOKING AHEAD — POTENTIAL FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES:

People and culture leadership and partnership is not part of the current scope of this role. However, it is a potential direction we see this role growing into over time — and something we would naturally revisit as the role and the person in it develop.

    Who Are You?

    • You have excellent communications skills in English, both written and oral (minimum level C1)

    • You have several years of experience in a similar Head of Operations, Operations Lead, COO, or comparable role — ideally in a professional services, consulting, agency, or similarly people-and-project-driven business

    • You are highly organised and deeply independent — you don't need to be told what to pick up, and once you own something, it gets done

    • You are an exceptional communicator — in written English, in 1-2-1s with your team, in meetings with department heads, and in high-stakes conversations with global leadership

    • You can prioritise quickly and effectively — you know how to triage a long list of competing topics, and you're comfortable saying "not now" when needed

    • You are highly numbers-oriented and analytical — equally comfortable digging into a P&L line, a utilisation report, or a pricing model, and translating what you find into a clear recommendation

    • You are also analytical in a strategic way — you can step back from the numbers to design an OKR framework, structure a planning cycle, or build a multi-quarter view of where the business needs to go

    • You are calm under pressure and able to hold many parallel topics — finance, people, tools, partners, internal comms — without dropping the ball

    • You think like an owner: the local business runs better because you're in it

Not a dealbreaker, but would be great if you also have:

    • Proficiency in Slovak (helpful for working with local partners — tax, legal, landlords — and for connecting with parts of the team and office life)

    • Hands-on experience with the tools we use day-to-day: HubSpot, PandaDoc, Harvest, Asana, the Microsoft stack, Miro, and AI productivity platforms like Langdock or Claude

    • Prior experience in an agency, consulting firm, or other multi-team professional services environment

    • Experience working in a matrixed, international setup with global and regional leadership layers

    • A background that combines finance/controlling exposure with cross-functional operations

    What's in it for you?

    • Starting salary is from 3800 EUR gross per month (* the final salary offered will be based on the candidate's experience)

    • This is a full-time role based in Bratislava. We only offer a standard employment contract (TPP), no freelance/živnosť.

    • Extra vacation days

    • Flexible working hours

    • Flexible place of work - 3 home office days per week

    • Private pension contribution (3rd pillar)

    • Summer office – this year’s destination is Paris

    • 100% pay on sick leave for the first 2 days of illness

    • 100% coverage of meal contribution & Multisport Card

    • Mobile phone contract for both business and personal use

    • 2 hours per week of fixed time for reading & learning of your choice

    • Unlimited education budget & hands-on support in your learning path

    • Employee Wellbeing Program – Work & Life Coaching & Counselling with our external partner

    • Regular team building & team spirit events (monthly Team Breakfasts, Games nights, Table Tennis tournament and much more)

    • Annual volunteer days

    • Employee Referral Program

    • Relaxed and dog-friendly work environment

    • International team with English as our main language

    • Hybrid work in our brand-new office in Bratislava Old Town

    • International relocation support can be agreed on if needed

    • Working on large-scale, international marketing campaigns for well-known brands in an international environment

    • Working with and learn from some of Germany’s top digital marketing minds

    • And much more...

What can you expect in terms of the process?

    1. First Chat (30 minutes with our People & Culture team)
    2. Second Chat (1 hour with your potential Manager)
    3. Practical Assignment (2-hour prep for a Case Study + 1 hour output delivery with two senior managers)
