SCALING A GLOBAL DIGITAL SHELF ON AMAZON
A global Amazon vendor needed our support regarding the operational management of their digital shelf across 11 countries. The client’s assortment consisted of over 2,000 product listings per country. Due to this large portfolio, the client was paying high operational costs to maintain their digital shelf with time-consuming manual processes. This overwhelming workload negatively affected content quality and complicated the process of tracking product listings.
CREATING UNIFIED, HIGH-QUALITY CONTENT ACROSS THE CLIENT'S GLOBAL DIGITAL SHELF.
First-class content on Amazon is crucial for driving conversion rates and sales growth. It promotes brand trust through consistency and increases advertising efficiency. To achieve a smoother and more effective digital shelf process, we took a powerful two-pronged approach.
IDENTIFYING AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT.
First, we conducted an analysis of the client’s existing systems and processes to identify areas that could be improved, replaced or automated. Using the client’s needs and current process as a basis to compare product experience management tools, we then implemented the most effective tool for a streamlined product launch process.
WE CREATED A GUIDE TO STREAMLINE CONTENT PRODUCTION.
Finally, we outlined a new, unified content guide that could easily be scaled across all brands, markets and the 10+ languages in our client’s portfolio. The guide was focused on producing high-converting Amazon content which would be highly relevant to both the brand identity and target groups.
We didn't just improve the content quality for both visual and SEO copy on a global scale. We also restructured the global product launch process for Amazon and implemented automated tools, resulting in a 50% reduction of the headcount cost needed for product launches.
